I’m in town for a conference and stopped by the Fall City Market for a coffee. I ended up perusing the bakery as well and started drooling over the macarons. The lovely woman behind the counter (I wish I could remember her name) was absolutely welcoming, warm, and just lovely. I ended up purchasing one of each macaron (11 flavors—she threw a crushed 12th flavor in there for good measure). Each of these are honestly delicious! From beginning to end, I have been extremely impressed by this bakery!

Ordered a personal congratulatory Carrot Cake for my boyfriend and everything about the cake was amazing. Even working with the owner, Jackie, was wonderful. She was responsive and even with little vision and creativity to share with her on my end, she knocked it out the park!

Absolutely amazing wedding cake! Was able to take my dream for a wedding cake and turn into reality! Thanks so much! 5/5 would recommend! Great talent and and everything was delicious. She was so nice and made sure I got everything that I wanted and I really appreciate that!!!

When Jackie asked me what my husband “liked” to create a birthday cake for him, I gave her a kitchen sink full of ideas: bloody Mary’s, golf, poker, cook-offs with the family (I sent her a picture of us in our team aprons) among other things. To my amazement, she incorporated them all into one cake. She is an incredibly talented professional with a sweetheart personality. And the cake was so delicious it made me want to relocate to Louisville so we could partake in her creations on a regular basis. Jackie, thanks so much for making John’s 67th birthday so memorable. Lastly, don’t stop with cake. Her muffins, sweet-breads and macarons are to die for too!

Delicious and adorable bakery in Falls City Market. They can warm up the pastries if you like (nightly recommend). Staff was friendly and they were open on a Sat Morning (despite Google hrs stating otherwise). Would recommend!!

I reached out to JJ Bakes & co to design my 28th birthday cake and they went above & beyond what I envisioned! From all the ruffled icing, and the gold covered cherries it’s literally going to be so hard to cut into it. But the Italian cream will be worth it! 😍 All of Jackie’s desert creations and cakes are stunning. Amazing customer service, even better cakes, and a chef who’s passionate about her work! Thanks Jackie!

I have never tasted a wedding cake as good as this one! The red velvet cake was wonderful, I'm still thinking about it the next day. Let Chef Jackie Joseph make your next wedding cake or any cake, so your guests will be thinking about it for days!

Ya’ll the pictures do not do this one justice. My dear mama was celebrating her 60th Birthday and we decided to take a trip to the Omni Hotel in Louisville. I wanted to get her a special cake and to my surprise this bakery was in the Falls City Market attached to the Omni. I contacted Chef Jackie a little late with a very vague “peacock” theme request and told her she could be creative… The JJ Bakes team delivered. The theme, the cake & macaroons were perfection. Ms Shay even stayed past closing for us to pick it up! Needless to say, my mother is still thanking me for the “most beautiful and delicious cake” she’s ever had.

My experience has been nothing short of amazing, especially concerning the owner. All of the comments saying Chef Jackie has a nasty attitude are UNTRUE and UNFOUNDED. My birthday was this past Sunday and I happened to stop in on Friday for a pastry. I saw Chef in the back molding a cake, I had no idea she did them! Although it was a last minute request, she graciously took my order and made me this beautiful cake. I would like to see some of her helpers smile more, but other than that this place is professional with good service. Also shoutout to Shay for my birthday song when I picked up my cake!!

Jackie at JJBakes & Co. made our wedding day a dream come true with this cake! Our guest arrived and thought it was part of our decor and didn't even realize it was a cake. Once we cut into it, our guest couldn't stop talking about it! I kept getting requests for leftovers, days after our wedding! Anything you get for JJBakes and Co. will be amazing, but highly recommending the red velvet cake!!
